This is the worst accomodation I have ever stayed in. The room smelled strongly of damp and the staff very rude and unhelpful. The room was not clean and there was a mouse in it. Very disappointing. Stayed two nights here on our way back from a week in Bavaria. As expected a very old property, but did not find any of the modern conveniences as advertised. Assmanshausen is a beautiful village. A few nice places to eat, we had a hunt around and found mainly hotels, one of which very pricey, one closed and one stopped serving food at 6:30!
