Really enjoyed our 2 night stay here,nice comfy beds,breakfast buffet nice, hotel staff friendly & helpful, easy to get to from aiport with public transportation. Apfelwein taverns a easy walk, supermarkets nearby,walk to the bridge over the Main not too bad, to Romer area. I wouold stay here again for sure! More

This is the third time I have stayed at the Maingau and it never disappoints. Quite simply, it is a superb 3-star hotel. The simple rooms are immaculately clean and the breakfast in the newly renovated dining room is a prefect way to start your day in Sachsenhausen. The staff is friendly and accomodating. This hotel is ideal for a city break. Within easy walking distance of main square. Really clean rooms if a little small but what stood out was the helpfulness of the ladies on reception. We even had complimentary drinks whilst we waited for our room to be ready even though we were 3 hours early for check in. More

The hotel has a very good location in the middle of Sachsenhausen with its narrow cobblestone lanes and small squares with frame houses and fountains and where you find a lot of very nice and unique restaurants and pubs. tight squeeze in the rooms. and loud outside... right near a few bars and was crazy loud on weeknights. Restaurant was excellent. My husband stayed there in 2004 and nothing changed since!!! More
