We booked this hotel to go to the Frankfurt Bookfair. We used to stay with friends in the very same street, but they moved and so we decided to give Haus Daheim a try.
It is a B&B, or Pension, as the Germans would call it, more than a hotel.
The reception was wonderful and the house is beautiful. It has high ceilings, often with wonderful stucco features. Our room was very big and there was a TV and tea making facilities and the WiFi internet access was free. As you may have read from the previous review, the bathrooms were retrofittes into the rooms, but it was done in the highest quality - excellent! Ok, if someone needs to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, he better not switch on the lights in there, as the bathroom wall is frosted glass and the lights will illuminate the whole room.
There is also a wonderful breakfast room, very cosy and the breakfast is wonderful.
We were very happy to have found this and will most definitely make this our regular...
