A former home for military families (150yrs ago), with large rooms, newly renovated, new washrooms, 2 minutes to the shopping- / town center. Great breakfast. Secured parking 1 min walking distance. The hotel is located near the pedestrian area and all main attractions are within 1,5km. Anyhow,since Potsdam is quite small, it applies to 90 % of the city hotels. We stayed here at the end of a trip through Eastern Germany and were extremely impressed. It exceeded our expectations. The room was large, comfortable and clean, the service was excellent , the breakfast buffet plentiful (a self serve cappuccino machine !) and the location was top. We would go back to Potsdam just to stay in this hotel!
