This is classic art deco hotel (see the classic curved window panes) but with a contempory twist (see Duke's Bar) and represents outstanding value for money. Staff are young, cool and attentive. Top place!

Staying for three overnights on business showed the best and the worst of the Ellington. The building itself is wonderful and evocative. a great hotel (building and people working there). staff is very friendly. rooms are big, in a nice 'cool' style. not too expensive. food in restaurant is also good. and breakfast is a real feast. nearby metro , so in case you want to go east, you just have to walk a few minutes.
