The hotel was well located for my purpose but the room was sparse. No Tea/Coffee facilities, TV only had 1 English speaking channel. Bed was ok but not the most comfortable room was cold. Expensive for what you got.

Single guy ........travelling alone....looking to safe and economical place to stay?
Ibis Messedamm is the place to stay ....but dont except too much.
Positive Points:-
Really friendly staff.
Clean rooms.
Not very expensive for a night.
Really close to international bus station. (Useful if you are JAMES BOND and on mission...).
U-bahn and S-bahn are really close.

Bed were too hard and no good chair in the room. Breakfast was in Andy´s next door - it was very kaotish! Too small for so many people.
We have been in Ibis Messe Hotel 2 times before - it was better (fine) then!

This is one of the lowest reviews I have ever written for a Western chain hotel. Some of the lowlights I encountered:

Great location for someone attending conference in icc. Small rom but clean , would have appreciated free wifi in the room as other ibis hotels provide it.. Good road and rail connectivity.staff at reception pleasant and helpful..
