Booked this hotel for its proximity to the ICC and this was great - just across the road. Clean basic hotel with strip lighting and OK breakfast, this was not a luxury stay by any means. Ibis Messe has just had a complete renovation. Room (flat screen TV, spotless bathroom, comfortable beds) faultless and tremendous value for money. Breakfast on 8th floor with panoramic views of Berlin, equally good value - cereals, muesli, fruit, cold meats, cheeses, eggs (scrambled and boiled), bread, rolls, croissants, fruit juices, fresh fruit. The hotel is extremely basic, do not expect much. No room service, no minibar, and yuck, soap that other people have used, to save money. This hotel is just 3 minutes from the Messe so ideal location if on a conference or exhibition. Hotel is basic but clean and comfortable. Restaurant is OK and bar comfortable. Would recommend for the Messe but not for a longer stay as has no luxuries...... more
