Tryp hotel was great! Great front desk staff, cleaning crew and bartenders! My friends and I felt very safe there. It is close to tons of restaurants and public transportation. Taxis cabs come in 30 seconds after a call from the front desk. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Berlin!

The hotel is conveniently located two metro stops north of Friedrichstrasse station. Very clean and comfy beds, and very child-friendly reception. No free wifi in the rooms though (only in the lobby) and the street facing rooms are quite noisy if you like to sleep with an open window. Some additional towel holders in the bathroom would come handy too.

This hotel was a big disappointment. The staff was inattentive and distracted, not willing to help. No (free) (wireless) internet access in the rooms. Fantastic accommodation at a great price. Lovely rooms. Great private bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. Wonderful staff. Located centrally, very close to underground rail station. Highly recommended.
