We stayed here for two nights. It is across the river from the "old town" and very quiet.
It is downstairs from an art gallery and student apartments but I didn't hear a peep from whatever was above me while I was there. The rooms are huge and eclectic to say the least, but very comfortable with a small kitchen...

You might think a hotel calling itself "Country Manor" would be, if not in the country, at least in a park surrounded by grass and some trees? That was why I booked three nights there, just outside the centre of Regensburg, looking forward to a bit more relaxation than you would get from a city-centre hotel.

We stayed at the sister hotel the Orphee Landhaus and i can't speak highly enough of the place. Huge rooms (try and get one with a patio), 4 poster bed, great bathroom (with the best shower ever) and small cooking area if you're hungry. It's across the river from the centre of regensburg so get a taxi if travelling by...
