Chose this hotel as its not part of a chain and reviews on booking.com were generally good. Its 10mins walk(via the rear car park entrance on luitpoldstrase) from the Bahnhof and 10/15mins into the old town. “Fairly good hotel near old city center”

This is a reasonably priced hotel located just a few minutes' walk from the old city center. My room (number 5) was spacious; in fact there were two single beds, each one in a room of its own. Not being able to find much about this B&B, we were unsure of what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised; their English was much better than our German!
