- Mercure Hotel Nuremberg

Was a bit distant from the citynwhich initially I thought wasn't going to be good. But on exploring the adjacent parklands discovered a treasure trove of entertainment and sites. Arriiving by hire car had no trouble finding the hotel. There was plenty of parking either paid close by or free a short walk. Fuel close by too. A very quiet hotel set back from the main road. Left the car and walked to the metro station to take train into centr of the city. Well worth it.

Despite undergoing some internal redevelopment, i enjoyed a pleasant and comfortable stay. Although not in Nurnberg city centre, the hotel is 10 minutes from an underground station...

The room was large, modern and clean.
The free internet service in reception was great.
Staff were excellent also.
We did not try breakfast as we thought this was expensive at 15 euro each.
The location was great...
