Good location and basic amenities. In a residential neighborhood, bordering the castle. Most of the town is accessible by walk. The breakfast had plenty of choices, so never a dull day. No cooling the rooms, have to open the windows to let cool air in - but that works just fine. More

We spent two nights after our cruise that ended in Nuremberg. The entire hotel was sparkling clean and our room on the 3rd floor was cozy and decorated nicely. Fine for a one night stay. Staff costumes are traditional and made me smile. Rooms look like they haven't been decorated for about 25 years. Location is not right in the centre of the city. We were here in September 2010 - now there are new owners running this hotel. The rooms have been usefully freshened up, and parking while still good , is now more secure due to a closed garage door.
