We come to Munich at least once or twice a year every year. This used to be our favourite place to stay because it was a simple 3 star hotel which went the extra distance (good service, free minibar, great free breakfast). Now, it is a simple 3 star hotel which charges higher prices than it used to when it... More

This is a great little hotel, once you find it. Prior to staying here I had read a review that mentioned a confusing route from the S Bahn station. It's true. Other that that simple detail, it truly was a nice place to stay. The rooms were small but very clean. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice. They all... More

We had a very decent stay in October 2011. For under EUR 100/night, although the service wasn't the warmest I've experienced, we could not have asked for more. The hotel's location is fantastic (although a little confusing to find on foot without a proper map when arriving via U-Bahn) - within strolling distance of the Marienplatz, the Residenz and all... Perfectly located to visit munich downtown: Only 5 min walk away from the deutsche museum ( a must), 5 min walk from isartor train station (if you just want to visit the centre you dont need it though). The airport is about 30 min away by train, get off at isartor. Rooms are cosy and warm. Price was ok (120... More

Wanted a friendly, clean hotel near the old town, Transportation and this is perfect! Stayed here for 4 nights after having stayed here 5 years ago. It's a great spot, skip the breakfast for 15 euro and go across street to grab coffee and croissants for much less. Good bed, bath and amenities, super clean and slightly trendy and quiet!... More

Two hundred meters from Isartor and ten minutes walk from Marienplatz, in a quiet location, you can find this small design hotel , minimalist and very sophisticated. Actually the opposite of the chain's business big hotels. Every detail is carefully chosen, from decor of the lobby, up to cups for breakfast. The rooms are quite small and basic, the breakfast... We stayed here during Oktoberfest as it was very expensive and difficult to find a good hotel during this period. The rooms are comfortable, though small and currently there is construction going on next door - this means loud construction and jackhammer noises - the lot next door looks like there has been a recent demolition so we're not sure... We stayed for three nights at the beginning of September 2011, just two weeks before the start of the Oktoberfest. The city was hot and humid and the hotels and restaurants very quiet. We have stayed here before and although the rooms are small, the hotel is modern and in a good location – near to Virtel Market but away... More

This hotel was a wonderful oasis. The rooms were very up-to-date and looked completely new in beautiful modern style. It was very clean and beds comfortable. Room was not large, but adequate for a couple, and a size expected in a city hotel. Very good value considering the price. Free use of computer/internet in lobby. Wonderful location--short distance to the... More

I am somewhat perplexed by the reviews of this hotel. I feel as if I must have stayed at a different hotel--but for the descriptions of the breakfast. and location. The breakfast is excellent. The selection and quality of food is outstanding. And the location is very good in terms of neighborhood specifically and access to UBahn or S, generally.... More
