We recently stayed at Hotel Antares for 4 nights. The hotel is in a great neighborhood in between the Schwabing and University Districts with good inexpensive dining options and cafes within a short walking distance. We stayed here for 3 nights. Room was small but clean and close to the city and train station. The buffet breakfast was good, typical German Breakfast of rolls, meat, cheese, yogurt, pastries eggs from memory and tea and coffee. The room was good, especially for the price (55 euros or so, I believe). Large enough room for 2 of us with a mini bar we were never charged for, despite raiding it night after night following full days of beer drinking.
