Alpenparadies is situated in the outskirts of town, its about a 5 min drive from the town center. We had no problem finding it. My husband and I booked with Alpenparadies the day before we were to arrive, on World Cup weekend in Garmisch. I suppose the lodgings closer to town got booked first, but we didn't mind the drive to the outskirts of Partenkirchen. Our GPS took us straight there. And the road wasn't icy.

Haus alpenparadies is a simple furnished country pension 5 min from Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Breakfast is included. Rooms have balconies overlooking huge mountains. There are nice paths to explore and a very popular restaurant called the, Pfeiffer Alm, next door and homecooked food is prepared daily.
