The Post Hotel is a great hotel in a wonderful position. They have managed to blend old world charm with modern conveniences. My room was large, tastefully decorated and had a fantastic view. The staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend staying there. More

Spent the weekend here, half board. The room was large, and had a safe, refrigerator, and large balcony, with beautiful views! The breakfast staff was friendly, and the food was decent. Reduced services during this period meant 3 or 4 star rooms at 2 star prices. Only breakfast servied. Other room services and comforts great. Great views from balcony. We loved it. More

Our worst hotel during a 6 week road trip of Germany. Old, tired and in need of a thorough cleaning. Room was large, with a balcony, but very worn and in need of renovation. Hotel is centrally located in the middle of all of the shops and restaurants. Service was very good. Room does not have A/C but rooms were kept cool with the window open. Unfortunately, our neighbor sat on the balcony smoking even though there were signs asking people not to smoke. More

While the town is specctacularly beautiful, the staff is as cold as the winters. Requests for and early checkout for and early flight are met with characteristic coldness, stating "this is Germany, we don't do that" . The customer is always wrong at the Post because they are Germans and you...are not. More
