I Have stayed here at the Hansa which I personally found pretty cheap and horrible. If you just want something over your head for the night and not too fussy, then yes it would do. It reminds me very much of a halls of residence I stayed at in France once. The breakfast was very good tho. more

I followed another reviewers advice and got a single room for E29. I had come from another hotel in Stuttgart for E109 per night- I would go back to Hansa any time ! more

My family and I have stayed at the Hansa Hotel on four separate occasions and would never think of staying anywhere else in Stuttgart. Of all the hotels I stayed in Germany, this was probably the worst. It wont be an exaggeration to say that the ship cabins are probably bigger than the rooms at Hansa. As other reviewers found, the rooms are a bit small basic -- 1950/60s decor, but the breakfast is very good (I had apfelkuchen with my cornflakes!) For €55 midweek, including breakfast, you really can't go wrong. more

Very reasonable and perfectly pleasant hotel about 20 mins walk from the centre of Stuttagrt. Breakfast good. Rooms quite small - not unlike cabins on a ship, which would be in keeping with the hotel's nautical theme - but clean with comfy beds. Reception service is slooooooow! more
