We arrived in 28/02/2012 stayed there until 06/03/2012. We had a very unpleasant reception from the hotel staff. The employee at the front desk are very rude. The man with blondie hair named Karl who works at the front desk has no education to do this kind of job. We had asked for a no smoking room when we did...

This is a good hotel. The only fault was they were upgrading the reception area, but this work could be completed by now. Location looks a bit far out from the City, but its only two stops from the Hauptbahnhof with a U-bahn/ train every couple of minutes. Bigger than usual rooms also for an Ibis.

This was my second Ibis experience. I was travelling in business and stayed one night. And my opinion is: Ibis (so far) is perfect for a short stay.
The room was spotless clean, with good acustic insulation, wi-fi in the room, breakfast good, just 3 tram stops from city centre, quiet surroundings.

I had reserved a room on the hotel webpage. At arrival I was told that only smoking room were available when I booked - however, I have never been given the choice or that information at the internet booking. I would never have chosen a hotel with only smokers room available. I got a room that smelled awfully of smoke...

It can be said that it's an real International hotel when compared to German's minimalist local hotels. It's 2 minutes by walking to U-Bahn station and 3 stations far away to city center-Haubtbahnhof .
I reserved a room on the internet and I did have no problem in front desk except they offer me a smoker room or disabled room...

Modern clean hotel. The room and bathroom are of a decent size. Reception staff very friendly.
There is a charge to use WIFI in the rooms (3 euros for 1 hr, 6 euros for 5 hrs - time starts from first login) but there is free WIFI only in the lobby and restaurant. And there is a computer and printer...

Despite this htel being close to the main south railway station and post office sorting office, the excellent glazing means that sleep is not disturbed. Staff were excellent and the choice of food at breakfast was impressive. One slight criticism was the signing to our room (136). If you followed the sign you had to traverse three corridors to your...
