Stayed in room 304 in Krokodil Hotel and Restaurant 2nd week of April 2012 for 5 days. The walk-up (a struggle if you have heavy luggage) is in a quiet residential neighborhood 10 minute walk to the HBF and 15 min to old city. “Nice little place to stay in Heidelberg”

The Hotel Krokodil is a nice little place for your stay in Heidelberg. Nothing fancy, something of a plain Jane kind of place. The room we had was large enough for our family of three and adequately furnished. The bathroom was unusually tight, even by European standards, but certainly usable. Just returned from staying there for 2 nights. Our room was 105 right above the kitchen downstairs which serves excellent dinner (salads, pizza, german entries,...)and pub which stays open til midnite. We were in bed every day by 10pm but just couldn't sleep with all the noise from the restaurant (outside seating's voices echoes between the bldgs)and the kitchen noise... More
