This old gasthof is situated in the old town of Heidelberg with the Christmas market few steps away. Our room was average standard, well functioning and quiet. The restaurant serves traditional well-prepared German food.

You can't get much more central than the Hacteufel--located at the foot of the old bridge. The rooms are large and clean, the breakfast great and the staff helpful. Wasn't impressed with the kitchen but maybe it was jetlag as it was our first night.
