My wife stayed here for business because of her conference at the nearby Crowne Plaza because her per diem didn't cover the charges there. I stayed with her the weekend before and we explored the town. The last review for this location was two years ago and nothing has changed at all. It is still in need of renovation, more... more
Stayed here 2 nights for my first visit to Heidelberg. The hotel is in a relatively convenient location, about 5 minutes walk from Bismarckplatz (the start of the main shopping drag). The actual hotel location is a quiet side street - very nice. But the hotel is very tired, and in need of a renovation, new beds, new rugs, etc.... more
Stayed here in October 2004. Reservation was correct and room was ready upon arrival. Room was large and bathroom was adequate (decor in room was a bit odd), but most impressive was the old-world atmosphere and nice receptionist.
