The food was fantastic both evening meals and breakfast. However we didn't sleep well as the bed was v hard and uncomfy. Room was plain and in need of decoration. Not much to do in Triberg unless you like clocks or want to hike. We drove to Friberg which was more happening and lots to do.

What a wonderful place to stay! Hidden in the hills of the Black Forest this wonderful inn offers travellers an opportunity to experience beautiful views, spotlessly clean and charming rooms, delightful staff and manager and all at a very good price. It's so peaceful and unpretentious. Definitely worth searching out.
