We booked only one night during our holiday-tour in Germany, but after the first day we decided to spend another night at Rappen and another day in Freiburg! Getting there 9/10 Flew direct to Basel and got the Airport Bus to Freiburg Station. About a nice 10 mins walk to hotel. When arriving, the hotel is a bit difficult to access because it sits over a restaurant. You can either try the side door, but thats locked (although there is a doorbell) or you can walk into the restaurant with your bags and access the stairs/elevator up to the hotel. This isn't a big deal, but it would have been nice... more
The room is clean and the beds are comfortable. Everything is new and shiny. The location is perfect, right next to the huge Church. The breakfast was very fresh and full of foods from the region. more
