“Room reeked of kerosene....”

Room smelled very strongly of kerosene...had to deal with it because each time I went downstairs to ask about it, the owners were in and out alot and I would miss them. Bed was uncomfortable and in a poor spot so if you are a couple one of you is against the wall and have to climb over the other... More

“Perfect place for cyclists or other outdoor activities”

I highly recommend Roc du Chere. The hotel is very clean, easily accesible and well placed for cycling in the Lake Annecy region. The hotel owners speak fluent English and are only too eager to assist in any way. I don't think you could beat this hotel for value for money. More

The Hotel Le Roc de Chere is situated in a very nice area, in between the Annecy lake and the surrounding mountains. The location is convenient only when you travel by car (Talloires is not the most exciting city, but in 10 min you reach Annecy, in ~1h Albertville or Geneve, etc).
