We stayed here for three nights and found it ideal. It is just a 2 minute walk from the nearest metro and 5 from the Hotel de Ville. Rooms are clean and comfortable with a useful kitchen area and tables and chairs. Staff were efficient and helpful. We would return.

I stayed in Lyon for four nights for a conference near Hotel de Ville. Villemanzy is just 'up' (an understatement) the hill from the main presqu'ile peninsula that heads to the confluence of the Soane and Rhone rivers.
