Great location, clean, but services of the hotel are quite limited - the lounge is open only occasionally, the breakfast for 18 euros is pretty sparse, no gym, no bell services, poor tv hardware (and choices), etc. Again, the hotel is clean and convenient, so it depends what you seek. Don't count on a full service property.

I have stayed at this particular Mercure several times on business. The staff is pleasant, the breakfast is good, albeit very expensive. The location is great. Lots of local restaurants. Close to Old Town and Vieux Lyon. Public parking garage located within a 1 block walk.

Triple room was very spacious and although it didn't matter to us, as we were on a business trip and out all day, the room looked out onto the fire escape. I stayed for two nights on a business trip and it was comfortable and functional. The staff were pleasant, but it was a small hotel, rooms were smaller than I would have expected for the cost and the shower was underpowered. A good standard hotel if a little uninspiring.

The title sums it up really. The rooms are a bit small but they have sat T.V for English news etc. You have to park in a public underground car park which can be a bit of a nuisance. Over all a good basic hotel
