This aparthotel was about a half mile from main shopping area. Our apartment was well equipped especially since my partner and i had been travelling for the last few days. The bathroom had a drying rail for clothes along with iron/ironing board. Washing machine area was on first floor. The bathroom had lots of big fluffy towels along with plenty... More

Family of 4 stayed here for Tour De France for 4 nights. Great value, used kitchenette for every meal. Great center city location, staff was helpful and free internet access. Hotel was also next to a large park, great for a morning run. Grocery across the street. only con was a moldy shower curtain. More

This hotel is located at the center of the City Grenoble. One can get all the transport, shopping facilities within short reach. The Tram, Bus stop Chavant is just opposite and the Rail station Gare is 10 min walk. The tourist office is nearby and two shopping stores viz. the Spar and Marche Plus is just on the other side... The Citadines is a no frill pay by the night residence. Note that I didn't say hotel and that's because when I checked in, the woman at the front desk made that clear to me. they are a residence, not a hotel. Got it. In other words: pay for your stay in advance, no hotel like amenities such as help... More

Ok - I know nice council estate flats do exist, but if you imagine a slightly under-average one, one with flaking paintwork, stained carpets and cobwebs, one that hasn't been redecorated in 25 years and you'd be getting close to the Citadines experience. The entire apartment had the acrid smell of a limescale removing toilet cleaner, a smell so strong... More

I booked the Citadines in Grenoble for a short stay for a group of 16. It turned out to be perfect for us. The rooms are all well fitted, clean and comfortable. If you want to eat in your room, there are supermarkets in the same street and if you want to eat out, there are many cafés nearby. It... More

We got a very good rate on a triple suite here and were delighted with its amenities. Living room with a pullout sofa, two balconies with great views and a very functional little kitchen. Excellent value! The staff were very friendly and helpful and pointed out a terrific little bistro around the corner (whose name I have forgotten, sorry!). There... More

The Citadines appart/hotels are great if you are on an extended holiday and want to eat in every now and then. They have everything you need to cook for yourself. There is also a laundry on site so you don't need to go walking around town trying to find a laundromat. The rooms themselves are a bit tired, but adequate.... More

I've been visiting Grenoble weekly for the last year (2-3 nights/week) on business, plus had need for the odd weekend stay. Having tired of standard hotel rooms (and with a limited expenses budget) I decided to switch to the Citadines (nice to have the flexibility of my own kitchen facilities, and the rooms / apartments give much more space than...
