though the hotel was nice, it was the helpfulness, local knowledge,and genuine friendliness of the staff at Faucigny that made it stand above the other hotel we stayed at in Chamonix. the quality of the breakfast and afternoon tea/coffee were appreciated also. nothing left to do except smile, smile, smile.
