We held our wedding ceremony at Auberge du Bois Prin in January 2013 as an alternative to the more common choice of the church in the town center. We selected it because of the magnificent views (the hotel is situated several hundred meters above the town facing Mont Blanc and Aiguille du Midi), warm traditionally rustic chalet ambiance with a... 5 minute drive from downtown Chamonix, views of the snow capped mountains right in front of you, michelin meals at night, friendly service, comfortable rooms with plenty of storage; this place offers everything one needs whether you are traveling during the summer or winter seasons. It has a very family feel to it.

Stayed at Auberge for a long weekend of skiing and had the best time. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated - chalet style. The room was spacious, warm and well fittted with large bathroom with bath with bubbles and shower. Hotel is located close to Brevent ski lift, but you have to walk for 10 min, but it really is... It was our first time in Chamonix so it should be good. And it was. Great rooms, fantastic food, good wine, excellent service. Everything was working perfect. Okay there is a 5 -10 minutes walk to the lift but we knew that. So if you want to be good to yourself, take a stay at the Auberge du Boi Prin

The place is simply superb. The place is small and with the few rooms its like a family atmosphere. We were in a suite with a little private garden overlooking the mt blanc range. The view is stunning from there. The receptionist is a wonderful lady who gave us a couple of excellent suggestions to spend our time in Chamonix.... More

I have just spent a week here, whilst doing a lot of walking in the area. I stayed here for a week a couple of years ago. It is still a lovely spot with great views (ignore the moaning reviews about the walk from town, it is not that far!). The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable - I believe... More

We were booked into this hotel by our mountain guiding company, and we so pleasantly surprised as its position affords one the best veiws of Mont Blanc from all the rooms. These rooms are extremely comfortable and well appointed. The staff are most welcoming and give one the feeling an owner run establishment. The cherry on the top was that we... More

Been there twice this month. Food outstanding, worth it's recent first Michelin star. Beautiful to look at, smell, savor. The service team is young but rapidly improving and now very good. Good english as well. Menus are good value for money. Only downside is cheese offering is a bit limited. The views on the Mt Blanc range are unbeatable. Small... More

Fabulous hotel with gourmet food. We felt we were staying in someone's home not a hotel. The bedroom was quiet and comfortable. Excellent chef and service .Close to the ski lifts and we used the ski storage room. The hotel helped us get excellent rental ski equipment and nothing seemed to much a problem for them. One night we had to... More

This is a beautiful hotel near the Mt Bervent chairlift. Most rooms have a balcony sitting area with a great view of Mont Blanc. Proprieters are friendly, accomodating, and able to give helpful advice about what to do around Chamonix. The restaurant is outstanding. This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in and would be perfect... More
