Whilst ssomewhat tricky to locate, the is a good hotel well located in Annecy. Garage parking is perfect but needs to be ore booked. Watch out for the male receptionist with a somewhat 'brusk' attitude. More

Enjoyed our stay at Allobroges. Staff were friendly, rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated. The hotel is very close to the train station so excellent if you have heavy luggage and want to walk there. Restarants, cafes, shops and the lake are only a short walk away, around 5 minutes. This hotel is good value for money. More

Beware of Allobroges web site as it does apparently not work properly. I booked a room 2 months ahead, but the Allobroges website reinserted todays date (at 7.30pm in the evening). Nothing much wrong with this hotel however the atmosphere is not welcoming. The staff are gruff and make you feel like you are intruding. This seems to be common in France.
