Nice rooms (some equiped with kitchenette and/or balcony) and free wifi.
Tthe pool is a good size with lovely views over the mountains.
But Aquaviva doesn't have air conditioning and the heat can get really unbearable especially in the restaurant.

The breakfasts were expensive for what was on offer. The restaurant was closed, and the bar closed in the evening. The room was adequate, but the toiletries were sparse. The one meal taken at the adjacent 4 star Mercure was poor, better to eat in Aix, although this is quite a way out, bus or car needed to get there....
