This was our family's fourth visit in the last 6 or 7 years to Hotel Belle Aurore, and it is the third set of owners during that time frame. In the past, our stays have always been pleasant and enjoyable, especially the young owners a few years ago. Unfortunately, the new owners this year were not friendly and we would...

The hotel is situated near the top of the one way system round the village. It is half way between a 10 minute walk to the Rothschild Villa or a walk down to the nearest beaches. There is a pool, a good breakfast is served outside and the hotel is on two floors but there is no lift. The staff...

I reserved a room via internet for a romatic w-e after 2 months, providing my credit card number.
Had to cancel the reservation after few weeks due to a professional issue, sending to the hotel a mail to clarify that.
Despite the cancellation free of charge policy (confirmed by mail) I got my credit card charged. The hotel manager appreciated...

We used to come here in the 80s when, as other reviewers have said it was a little piece of magic. Mahler playing in the morning, lots of lively people and loads of fun. Think it's fair to say that this isn't the case at the moment - but maybe give the new owners time. They are working hard to...

We booked 3 rooms over the internet and then realised that we had accidentally booked 4 instead. I phoned Valerie, the manager of the hotel, and she assured me she would cancel the 4th room without charging us the cancellation fee. I also confirmed this with her in writing over email. The hotel then subsequently charged us the cancellation fee!...

We attended a wedding and the parties before and afterwards in Cap Ferrat and this was an ideal base to rest between the festivities. The pool was refreshing and very clean. Breakfast each day was timely and well served

We booked to stay for the third year at the belle aurore the nice cap ferrat hotel with swimming pool. Our first mistake was to pay upfront for the 6 days but we thought we were dealing with the previous owners. On arrival we discovered the pool was out of operation the terrace was a building site and the owners...

Splendid position in St.Jean between the port and the wonderful Ephrussi de Rothschild garden. Pleasant view of sea & Cap Ferrat from upstairs rooms/balconies. Very pleasant young owners. He's Italian, she's French and with good English. It's an unpretentious hotel, but the service is friendly and efficient. Thought and care went into the "home cooking", with menus not repeated over...

Good to see that this hotel is back to something like what it was in the eighties; when the four lads were running it. It does not have the up market restaurant it had then and you don't see Ferrari's parked outside now, but we had a good meal on the terrace, cooked by the owner. Breakfast - continental style...
