This could be an excellent hotel but it does not deserve 4 stars. Our room was small but spotlessly clean. However, shower head kept falling off the wall, shaver plug didn't work, fridge was lukewarm. None of our complaints were attended to during the week. But the breakfast!! We stayed at Le Splendid for three nights from Sat 12 September and arrived in Nice on the early flight from Bristol which meant we were at the Hotel by about 11 am. Good location near to railway station so we walked to hotel which took about 5-10 minutes rather then pay 15 Euro. The beach is a couple of blocks away.
