We stayed on the way through the area and this was the first time we had stayed but not the first visit. The views and bedrooms are amazing. The food and wine excellent and we would have loved to have stayed longer. Do take time to walk around the village so drag yourselves out of the comfort and get stomping! More

We stayed at Château Eza for 2 days for a special occasion. We has a beautiful room with a private balcony at 400 m above Mediterranean Sea. It was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The view was stunning. The service, staff, food was extraordinary. You have to walk up a little a set of uneven... More

Someone used the term "disneyesque" in a review and I agree in the best possible sense. We spent the first couple of days of a second honeymoon here and it was truly memorable. We had a delicious dinner--a tasting menu on a balcony overlooking the Mediterranean--and it will go down as one of the most delightful travel experiences of my... More

One night in this lovely hotel and it was one of the most enchanting stays we have ever had. The hotel has unique combination of charm, class and comfort and when you add in the views of the Riviera, you can't go wrong. The landscape of the exotic garden at night is stunning - ground lit and dramatic. I don't... More

So you arrive at a little reception area down below and push the button for a valet to come take you car and put your luggage in your room for you. Then you walk up some stairs through the winding streets of the town and there is another small reception area almost like a cave. They then take you to... More

Unbeatable view! Spectacular location! Helpful staff! Delicious meals but very expensive for quality and amount of food. Entrance to hotel difficult to find but well worth the search upon arrival! More

Halfway between Nice & Monaco is the somewhat Disneylike village of Ez perched on the cliffs above the Meditteranean is the Chateau Eza. The hotel can only be reached on foot via a very steep climb through narrow cobblestone paths. Each of the 12 rooms is unique, a tiny circlular stone staircase led up to our room, (this is no... This was the hotel we picked for the final night of our driving trip around France and it was a great way to end the journey. We booked through a Virtuoso agent into a Deluxe room, but were fortunate to get an upgrade to a Junior Suite, the "Medieval Suite". It was quite a treat. It had an amazing wide... More

We stayed at Chateau Eza for the first 4 days of our honeymoon in May 2011. It is a beautiful hotel built into the fairy tale town of Eze. I absolutely recommend this hotel for a romantic trip, but there are a few things to know before you go: -Small room. Very clean and well appointed, but small by American... More

Arrival at the hotel was rather chaotic. The reception station was unmanned so I wandered uphill looking for a "red phone" we had read about on a web site.I arrived at the actual reception to be informed that they knew I was coming as my husband had met the car valet person. The hotel had sent me an e-mail about the... More
