We stayed overnight in Arles on our way down to the Camargue area. The hotel location is ideal, right in the center of the old Arles. It's very rustic, and charming. It was clean, and the staff was very helpful with our requests. It's a little difficult to find, and the free wifi did not work for us. But overall... More

Great location for sights and restaurants. Helpful staff. Ancient-looking rock wall in bedroom #25. I recommend a taxi (10 euros) from the train station since the hotel is some distance walking with luggage and hard to find among the narrow curvy streets. Quiet surroundings and lovely courtyard. There is parking for a charge but the numerous one-way and narrow streets... More

Stayed two nights at this charming hotel. Perfect location in the middle of the old town, close to a nice little square full of restaurants. The staff is lovely, including a concierge service for parking the car in the adjacent parking garage. D'Arlatan is a stately historic building mainly furnished with antique furniture and dotted with contemporary art. The drawing... More

I stayed here with my father for 1 night, The greeting at the main desk when we arrived could not have been better, The hotel is rather old fashioned, very 1950's but that's what gives it it's charm. We had a small room with 2 single beds and a pokey little bathroom. Unfortunatly I can't comment on breakfast because it... More

My husband and I joined our friends from Olympia, Washington at this amazing hotel. The service was second to none. This hotel has Roman ruins in the basement which is easily viewed from the lobby due to the careful planning of the builders/owners who placed a large glass piece on the floor with lighting beneath which gives the viewer an... Huge rooms with old style classic furniture. They are very clean and calm. You feel you are going back in time. Nice swimmingpool on a garden terrace. Two minutes away from a square full of sunny bar terraces to have a bite or a drink and ten minutes away from the Roman Arena. More

It is a while ago that I last reviewed this hôtel, but I have been returning once or twice a year since. Looking back I am surprised I only marked it as very good last time. The Hôtel. The building echoes the town with part of the foundations and some of the walls going back to the Roman period. Then... More

Excellent location for Arles especially if you're on foot. Difficult location with a car. Originally given a very small room (disappointing). Asked to be upgraded and we were given a lovely room (1b). We didn't eat breakfast until the last day because we didn't want to pay 15Euro but they only charged us 9Eu which was very reasonable...so ask in... More

What really bothered me was the penny-pinching and unaccommodating attitude of the management, which was more irritating than the fact that the room was shabby, small and needed updating (bath was ok and had two sinks). Someone else had mentioned in another review having to pay for every little thing and I wish I had paid attention. It started with... More

This quaint hotel is nestled in the heart of Arles and takes you back to the days of horse drawn carriages and lit lanterns. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a parking garage attached to the hotel for your vehicle that is locked in the evenings for security. There is the option of having breakfast in your... More
