- Accor Arles Camargue

From time to time you arrive in a hotel and you think: "if only they would buy some fresh paint and hire local painters, it would already make a huge difference."
Those were my first thoughts when entering the car park of the hotel. The outside ofthe hotel, the lobby, the elevators, the rooms, the corridors, the dining rooms ......

This hotel was perfectly acceptable, but it needs to be refurbished. It´s tired throughout- from the lifts to the carpets....from the curtains to the beds- But it is not bad value, considering there is a pool and free high speed WI-FI. The restaurant is over priced for what it is, and so is the little fridge next to reception. Don´t...

I have had my share of driving in narrow alleys, with no parking anywhere. This hotel fulfilled my needs perfectly, I was able to park, and walk everywhere.
Loved that I could choose weather I wanted my breakfast in bed or in the dining room. The breakfast is far superior to what I have experienced. Coffee exceptional with all the...

The staff at this hotel were all extremely friendly and helpful. The dinners in the hotel restaurant were fully acceptable. Rooms were clean and spacious. Plenty of car parking. Pool area looked very nice. There is a very large history museum close by and also a new park build to show how the Romans played in their day.

Stayed here for 1 night on business. Bed was uncomfortable and the entire hotel seemed to be in need of renovation. Room smelt of years of french cigarette smoking. Arrived late without a booking as my flight into Marseilles was delayed. Rack rate was EUR 130 without breakfast, but I guess you can prebook on the web for about half...

We travelled with a group and stayed from 2nd to 10th October. The rooms are in bad need of renovation, especially the bathrooms. The beds had a sheet and blanket. The blanket still had hairs on it from the previous guest(s). Towel changing was a problem - dirty towels were sometimes collected but not replaced, so we had to contact...

Massively overpriced at 130 euros for a twin-bed with no breakfast, bath panel rotting, bath tiles all smashed and not replaced, decor awful, nowhere to go in the hotel where people weren't constantly smoking at all hours of the day and night, the lobby, bar and seating area all stank of it. We arrived late otherwise we would have walked...

I loved Arles. We visited during the Festival de Riz. This featured a 3 day bull fighting event (the bulls were not killed). It was a lot of fun. The Camargue is also a definite must see.
This Mercure hotel is located conveniently in the vicinity of both the Camargue (30 minute drive) and the Arles City Center (20 minute...

The Mercure is a bit of a walk (say 20min) from the historic centre of town (it's right next to the Antiquities Museum). The facilities are comfortable, and the hotel restaurant is OK but not special.
