First point to make clear, this hotel is not near the centre of Aix, buf set in a suburb to he south close to small business parks. A taxi to Aix centre costs about 30 euros and takes 15-20 minutes. I stayed for 3 nights during a business trip. Pleasant greeting at reception, staff helpful and friendly. Rooms (had a...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in July. We wanted to stay in Aix but left it very late to book accommodation. The hotel is not in Aix. It is 10 kms outside Aix on the motorway in the middle of an industrial estate. We were very disappointed to say the least when we arrived.
The hotel...

The good:
The room was clean and maintained for the 5 days we stayed.
We had a top-level (165 Euros, rack rate) room, so we had a great view of the mountains and the golf course.
Parking was close to the building and free. It was outside parking, but in a safe neighborhood.
It was pretty quiet at night except...

We felt fortunate that we had a rental car during our trip (the purpose of which was attending a wedding with several different venues), because the hotel is in the middle of an office park and wouldn't have been easily accessible if we hadn't had our own transportation.
The rooms are nice and the terrace with the pool is lovely...

Recently spent a week at the Royal Mirabeau in Aix while on business. The hotel is above average for the area, from what I can tell, but it is a 3 star rated hotel best suited for business travellers.
There was free WifI internet access which was a very big plus and and savings.
The rooms were a good size...

This hotel servers the industrial estate it is placed on - it is an OK hotel geared up for business and conferences - hotel rooms are clean, resonably sized and well fitted. Standard buffet breakfast, not a place for dinner. Miles from town (20 to 30 minutes drive!) so if you are looking to stay here to go to AIX...

My husband and I stayed here in September 2006. First, it is about 10km's outside of town. (There is a bus that can take you into a city but it stops running at 20:00 hrs. Finding a taxi in Aix can be very challenging.)
Second, there is no internet in the hotel for guests to use.
The hotel itself was...

We stayed in this hotel for the Aix en Provence Festival, with a group organised by a travel company. It had obvioiusly been difficult to get into the usual hotel they book due to the Cezanne Year celebrations. However, most of the group spent all their spare time looking for alternative accommodation.
The staff were very good despite being understaffed,...
