We stayed here with friends last July for a few nights and we had the most wonderful time. The rooms were beautiful and clean, the breakfast was abundant and delicious (homemade yogurt and jams, yum!!), and the hosts were remarkably kind and helpful. Our car was on its way out when we arrived and they immediately contacted the local mechanic... More

We booked for 2 nights in early October and were delighted with our choice. Great and friendly service, cosy room, beautiful surroundings, delicious breakfast. Would recommend it unreservedly. More

Logis Chai de la Paleine is a very nice place to stay in a Loire Valley vacation. The rooms are very tastefully decorated. It's got a nice garden with play areas. It's close to a lot of places you can visit in the Loire Valley. The owners are charming and friendly. We only wish we could have stayed a little... More

Nice to find a hotel where the owners want you to relax and have a good stay. Great room.....interesting building and surroundings. It is a small village but nice to walk around. The kitchen with the "honesty bar" is such a trusting thing.....but so indicative of the owners. Would certainly stay again. More

After a long day we arrived at this charming hotel and were given a warm welcome and tour of our accomodation. The room was very clean and charming including tea & cofffe facilities & bottled water. There was a communal kitchen with emergency wine and beer on an honesty basis. In the morning after we went for a run through the... More

We stayed here for two nights in mid September. The room was big (for 3 people) and clean. The hosts, Philippe and Caroline were very friendly and Philippe was particularly helpful in recommending places to visit during our stay. If you don't want to eat at the restaurant in the town, there is a kitchen area available in the hotel.... More

Welcoming, unique, comfortable, clean, beautiful surroundings and good value for money. In addition, as Le Chai de la Paleine do not do dinner, their recommended local restaurant, a five minute walk away, was superb. Breakfast was very good in unique surroundings. I'll say no more as I would spoil the surprise. More than well worth the visit. We will return. More

Stayed here for 1 nights on part of motorcycle tour of France and Spain. Excellent Service they even let us put our motorcycles in a private garage. Would not hesitate to stay here again. A nice 200m? walk into town past the church takes you to a nice friendly restaurant for an evening meal. More
