I spent a nice night in Angers. The Hotel is not in the town center, but parking was secured and available, the food was good, perhaps a little expensive. Hotel is a bit out of the way and a fair distance from the city centre. To my consternation, the restaurant was closed over the weekend, which meant a choice of getting back in my car (after a long journey) and going to the city centre, or going to the shopping precinct opposite. The hotel is nice and situated on the outskirts of Angers. Need to get a taxi or drive into the centre of Angers if you are looking for entertainment or restaurants. The hotel restaurant isn't open on Sundays and there are no bar snacks either so if you are arriving late on a Sunday I would recommend eating elsewhere before... More

“Clean and comfortable - not bad refurbishment”

Stayed for a night during a visit to the Loire valley. Not badly refurbished room - but not up to the standard of the Mercure Massy the previous night. In particular the bathroom was still a bit grotty. However, the room was half the price of the Massy Mercure. Only one table taken in the restaurant so we ate elsewhere.... More
