First impression is positive. The cafe looked really cool and inviting. The hallways are a sight by themselves; furniture and decor are museum quality. Staff had execellent restaurant recommendation. Visited {2003}, one of our favorite cities in France. The hotel is olde world but the service and food is very good. Our room facing the street gave us a splendid view of a ww2 parade of old soldiers and at night it was quite.

Great location: across the Mall and within 10 minutes on foot to the old town. Beautiful, large, bright elegant room. High ceilings, moldings, Louis xvi commode. Large comfortable bed.
