We spent two nights at this small but comfortable hotel with a view on the old city .As usual at Ibis the rooms are small and the toilet is in the bathroom , you only get two towels and no facecloth but the bedding is comfortable and cleanliness is high . The hotel appears to have been recently refurbished and the rooms are extremely comfortable and well appointed. Ok it works well for a visit to the old town, and it has a good underground private car park, it's clean and the breakfast was just about ok ...but it has no soul, it's simply boring and very utility Management, if you are not going to supply bars of soap please can housekeeping keep a regular check on those... Standard ibis with clean rooms and outstanding customer service. Location is OK for visiting Le Mans although walking distance is a little far for the elderly to the major sights. Standard ibis France breakfast that was skipped.

Very good and convenient for the cathedral and old town. Secure underground parking was great as we had car full of stuff of Christmas. Worth going in December as Le Mans cathedral has a light display on it and you can grab a "vin chaud" right next to it in a small bar set in a archway.

Turned up here hoping for a room (without prior booking) and were delighted with the friendly service, the reasonable price, the good, clean room and the massive bed! Good location, accessible from the train station via tram and walking distance from old town. Check in was efficient, very accommodating staff in the restaurant. Breakfast was good.
