When we couldn't get into the 5 star hotel we usually stay in, I booked D House based on Tripadviser reviews. Franck greeted us at the door, showed us around our Suite Voyage and hung around for a friendly chat--just the right combination of friendliness without being overbearing. My 12 y/o daughter and I stayed at DHouse Rouen for one night this past June. It is a small place with only 2 rooms and the owners live there too, two gentlemen. We stayed here for 1 night following a camping trip. It's not the easiest place to find at all, but when we got there we had the warmest of welcomes. An absolute individual gem of a place. Can't recommend it, or the patrons, highly enough. Very close to the old part of town, the local market and the Cathedral. More
