We loved our visit to this hotel. The guy on reception was so informative, kind, considerate and professional. He made the visit perfect and very cool. We needed TLC having driven half way across France with a 5 month old baby! Our only regret is that we didn't stay for two night to relax some more before catching the ferry. More

I have stayed at a number of Ibis hotels over the years and this has to be the worst. the rooms were not vert clean they were small and untidy. The location was ok however the location is poor and quite down market. The breakfast was good! More

Stayed in Caen in August 2011. The hotel is located right in the middle of the old town area of Caen. Extremely close to attractions in the city. Central position and not far from the old quarter. Restaurant attached is excellent and good value for money. Loved the room layout and the dual purpose door which either sealed off the bathroom or added another layer of insulation to the sleeping area -very clever indeed! More

Fine, but the website didn't allow to book for 2 adults + 2 children, only for 2 rooms, so we ended up with two double rooms when we wanted a double + twin. That said it was sorted with the minimum of fuss and no charge. More
