Staff was very dedicated and would bend over backwards to assist us. Rooms were a little smaller than you are use to in USA but after 19 days in Europe you learn very quickly that rooms are smaller. great hotel. and very nice room on 1 floor. used this hotel in caen as our base while driving around normandie. great breakfast buffet and great dining in restaurant next to the hotell. i can recomend this hotel and if i go to caen i will try to get a room here. the mercure hotels never let you down. Next in Ibis which it shres a restaurant with in town centre. Easy walking to all major parts of town. Exceedling good parking at 10 Euro a night. Rooms are fully uptodate with flat screens and fridges. Bathrooms have no bath but modern drench showers. Very quiet at night. Standard Mercure breakfast which is very good cold buffet. More
