Hotel Tardif was a great find. Beautifully appointed old house with lovely peaceful garden, near both the Cathedral and the museum housing the famous Bayeux Tapestry. We stayed one night on the way back from a trip to the Loire Valley. The hotel is very well situated in the centre of Bayeaux, 3 minutes walk from the tapestry, which was our major interest. Perfect location and a nice yard but there were some quirks. The Wi-Fi didn't work very well. My room had an odd musky smell and I could not get the door to lock. I could also hear other guests through the walls. I will say that it had a large roomy bathroom. All in all, not a bad experience considering... more
