We stayed at the Churchill Hotel last week. Our family of four - including our two sons - ages 22 and 24, stayed there as part of a trip to London and France. We had a quad room with two twins and a Queen. There was plenty of room for all of us, and the bathroom was modern and appeared...

We spent two nights at this hotel and found it a fine place to stay. The room was very comfortable and the morning breakfast was great. The hotel is located very conveniently to the Tapestry, the Cathedral and War Museum. It was especially convenient to rendezvous with our Normandy tour guide.
We stayed in the older part of the hotel....

It baffles me why Rick Steves and Frommers find this place fascinating. The room that I stayed in was incredibly small. I could stand in the bathroom and touch all four walls without fully extending my arms. The bathroom was so small that there wasn't room for a toilet paper holder. You had to get up and get the toilet...

The location was perfect. We didn't realize till we arrived how convenient having parking close by would be. The town of Bayeux is very quaint, the Tapestry and Basilica were an easy walk from the hotel. Also very close and convenient were many good restaurants. We spent 3 nights making a trip to Omaha beach and other battle sites one...

Over the past few weeks my wife and I have been in France visiting several locations along the Normandy coast that my father was at during WWII. We used the Hotel Churchill as a base for several days. The staff at the hotel was just wonderful. They are friendly and helpful in every aspect. During the evenings guest gather in...

Centrally located in the ultimately quaint town of Bayeux, this hotel is run by true professionals. Helpful to the nth degree, willing to assist in any conceivable way whether it be with a restaurant recommendation or tour suggestion. The rooms are adequate and relatively modern for a medieval town. Definitely the place to stay if touring the Normandy battle sites.

This was our second stay at the Churchill Hotel and our third visit to the Normandy beaches. Again we found the staff at the hotel to be friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean but this time we requested a superior room to get a little more space. There is no elevator so carrying luggage to the second...

For location, you cannot do any better. We were taking a 2 day tour of Normandy and the tours meet in the square right outside the back door. We would eat breakfast at the hotel and stroll out the back door to meet our guide. The tapestry and church, as well as shops and restaurants, are an easy walk from...

Spent 2 nights in April touring the local area and Normandy sights. Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The rooms clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a continental breakfast which was sufficient for what we needed. The hotel location is in the center of town and right next door to where many of the D-Day tours start from.
