Hotel Borel has big rooms, wonderful shower en-suite, could maybe do with quilts instead of Blankets, however warm enough and very comfortable. Spent weekend there 28 to 30 April. Great location, maps provided, room really big. Breakfast is buffet but there are plenty of choices. Warning: Everything shuts down on Sunday. Had a great stay. More

Offers three-bed rooms at €88 per night plus a cot for a fee of €10. For a family of four this seemed a better and ultimately cheaper option than booking two separate rooms in a Ibis/Etap in Calais/La Coquelles. Still, €123 for a night's stay (including an admittedly very decent breakfast) is not exactly a bargain. We arrived around 9.30pm... More

Stayed here for one night on the way down to Italy and again on the way back home to GB. Very pleasant staff and room. The first one was a little dark but everything was clean and the bathroom was very swish. Breakfast was excellent, continental breakfast all freshly prepared and plentiful. Lounge room downstairs very pleasant to sit and... More

The hotel was ok, but not at all the money we paid for. The worst thing was that on the last day, we were supposed to check out at 11. After a stroll we went back to the hotel room at 10.30 and someone had cleaned the room AND opened our luggage and stuck our things in. No respect for... More

As a regular band of travellers we checked tripadvisor prior to booking this hotel and although outwardly appearing a comfortable and unusually friendly French hotel it was anything but. Firstly I would like to correct an error on the site description, WiFi is available but is chargeable. When I complained I was told that there was a computer available for... More

staff are very very good, but when i booked the hotel our room was supposed to have air conditioning and a shower for a disabled couple, there was no air conditioning and it had a shower in a bath, the hotel was said to have a bar and a restaurant it had neither, you could order meals at 10 euro... Booked this hotel on line after reading good reviews on Trip Advisor. On arrival I was not too impressed by the outside of the hotel, but on entering found everything we could need. The twin room we had booked had a hall way, with bathroom & toilet leading off, along with the main bedroom. The room had all we needed,... More

We stayed overnight before catching the ferry to Dover. Dunkerque is an interesting town, lots to see and the beach with the long promenade is worth the walk. The hotel is located by the harbour, easy parking in the street. The rooms are very well appointed - we thought it should be four star and not three. Everything you could... More

Stayed here for one night and found it a nice comfortable hotel right on the marina, It looks a bit old fashioned from outside but inside is modern and clean with nice helpful staff and a good selection on the breakfast buffet. The walk to the main square is just 5 minutes and Dunkerque is a nice town to visit... More
