The hotel is opposite the station and there's a bus stop right outside, but the bus doesn't go in to the centre of the city. Taxis are expensive. After a day of sightseeing you have a 15-20 minute walk back to the hotel. My room had a funny smell which fresh air and a perfumed candle didn't get rid of....
