They are trying to portray themselves as an extended stay apartment, but in this case they should not be charging 3 star hotel prices. Especially since the rooms are extremely dirty. To me,, the dirtiest I have seen. And I say rooms, because two other colleagues and I each got separate rooms in this "hotel" and one was dirtier than... More

Did not bear any resemblance to the photographs on the web site. Carpets and curtains extremely dirty. Kitchen area poorly equipped. Staff pleasant. Would not recommend although the tram stop just outside the building is very convenient. More

I did a two week French course in Montpellier and, as the school had a link with this aparthotel, they offered me this as their most expensive option. I wanted to be independent and an air conditioned room with its own small kitchen and bathroom suited me. I then read reviews about the tired appearance of the hotel rooms and... More

The main residences of the Consuls de Mer are located in the modern part of Montpellier, approximately 7 min by tram (which stops right in front of the building when the line is not under construction) from the old city centre (Place de la Comédie). So in terms of location, it's just fine. Wifi connection is also provided but make... More

We spent two nights at this hotel and of all 6 hotels we stayed in during our trip in France, this was our least favorite. It was shabby - stains on carpet, on furniture, on bedding. There was a big water heater in the toilet room, which was way down the hall from the bedroom. The neighborhood was iffy. It... More

Stayed in a two room apartment with a double bed, sofa and kitchenette. Very much a no-frills place designed for long stays like mine. Good value for the price - so take any negative comments in that context. I was looking for a roomy home base for an extended stay, and this definitely fits the bill. Cleaning/maintenance is a bit... A family of four who stayed here for seven nights and it was fine. It is not a five star hotel and is not trying to be one. You are renting a room or rooms, depending on requirements. They are clean, simply furnished, satellite tv, linen supplied and all the utensils needed for use within the small kitchen area for... More

Five of us stayed for a week in this Appartment/Hotel we booked twin room and triple room. We requested that the triple room have three seperate proper beds not fold up beds and was reassured by phone at centeral reservations that this could be arranged and the extra cost involved. When we arrived they did not have the request but... More

I stayed at the Les Consuls de Mer for the Australia - Fiji match in the RWC. The rooms are modern and excellent for the price the hotel charges, however: Our room only became available at 5pm, even though we arrived at 10am and told the hotel that we were arriving early. The hotel insists that you vacate your room... More

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. I found it on the internet & selected it based on price. The amenities sounded too good to be true but, I traveled with my college aged niece & nephew and had to keep their budget in mind. The rooms were clean, well kept and air conditioned! We had 1 bedroom rooms that also... More
