Stayed here for a night in November, 2011. I was drawn to this Hotel by a picture on the web which turned out to be a misleading image. While the staff was certainly pleasant the Hotel is in a run down location next to a school and shopping complex. Although November, the exterior gardens seemed unkempt. The interior of the... More

We stay in this hotel Montpelier in passed August. From the beginning we feel like we are home. Hotel staff was friendly and always helpful. All rooms are big and individual decorated, air-conditioning , big windows, free parking and WiFi , large bed and nice cosy bathroom. Well to find this hotel was not easy and you need some navigation... More

Just back from three nights at this hotel. Currently no restaurant so need to either walk to the shopping complex or drive. At one stage this would have been a beautiful venue, however the Hotel is next to the Lycee (high school, and a 10 minute walk from the Odysseum - which is simply a shopping mall, with cinema and... Last night on a round trip in southern France, perfectly close to the Montpellier airport, but still very calm and remote amidst beautiful nature. Spacious and pretty rooms in this old manor, good breakfast, great garden to relax and very calm surroundings. Enjoyed our stay very much. Tank you! More

We stayed at Demeure des Brousses for one night in October 2009. The route to the hotel seems a bit odd - it's on the outskirts of the town and light commercial businesses have intruded on this hotel 's country space. Then you drive through the entrance to find a typical french country hotel with its own grounds. Our room... More

I stayed here for one night in September. What can I say - to be fair, if you have kids and want to be really close to an aquarium / planetarium / cinema, with lots of chain restaurants (Garfunkels etc) and don't mind about location, then it would be fine. If you are looking for refinement and quality then look... More

Tried to book in Arles or Nimes..they were full so we did the next best thing & stayed close by. Glad we did. People couldn't have been nicer at Demeure Des Brousses. Room was large with high ceiling. Very quiet the weekend we stayed. Staff were very accomodating for breakfast. It wasn't completely clear on various booking sites but all... More

The drive to this hotel seems industrial with construction underway, but once inside the walls; there is a sense of a rural setting. The rooms are spacious and have original decor from a few decades earlier. Everything worked and the air conditioning functioned OK. The grounds are nice, but could use some landscaping care. A suggestion - when parking your... More

High on restored 'quaint' but otherwise rather lacking. Such a pity as everyone including the staff wanted it to be good. Breakfast was OK but supervised by someone aggressively wiping down earlier tables (at 9am - in southern France) so forget being able to talk. Jangling of keys by housekeeper precluded sleeping later unless equipped with earplugs. Building works on... More

A great place with character and charm set in a peaceful location surrounded by fields. A school is being built near by, but we didn't suffer any noise or disruption during our stay and you only see it on the approach from one direction. Service was friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. Demeure des Brousses became a hotel in the seventies but... More
