Pierre has created a charming little place just 5 mins walk from the city walls. We stayed for 3 nights. Bedrooms are modern, showers in some, baths in others. Pierre is very friendly and extremely helpful for restaurant recommendations etc. Very comfortable place, excellent breakfast. Great little find More

Apart from finding it which will improve in April when the new tram run opens ,Which is not the owners Pierres fault, He showed us the easy way out of town rather than Tom Tom. This 4 bed b and b was superb. The rooms super, showers huge, bags of hot water, great breakfast and help to find some super restaurants in the... More

We stayed at Les 4 étoiles for four nights in December 2011. I can echo all the great reviews in terms of the quality of the rooms, the delicious breakfast, and the charming hospitality of Pierre, the owner. We especially liked being so close to the 17th Century St Clemént Aqueduct and within easy walking distance of the center city.... More

We loved the stylish, inviting and thoughtful touches that started at the entry, wound up the stairs to the sitting/breakfast area and finished with a flair in our room. The bed was huge and comfy, the shower (with L'Occitane products) was refreshing and everything was impeccably clean. We didn't hear a peep all night long. Then breakfast was a fun... More

Me and my husband went in March. Pierre, the owner, is lovely and the atmosphere is homey. Warning: if you don't like to share your breakfast table with other guests (there are only 4 rooms so you will never share with tons of people) this is not the place for you. We were lucky, the other guests, from Germany and... More

This is a well located B&B just 10 or so minutes walk from the city centre. The rooms are beautifully designed and furnished - certainly a refreshing change from the uninspiring, generic design of some hotel rooms! Pierre owns the place and is very friendly and keen to advise the best places to visit in the city. The only negative... More

We arrived at Les 4 Etoiles via taxi from the train station (12 Euro), the location of the B&B is a side street which is exceptionally quiet and really gives you the sense of being in the middle of a traditional French suburb. Pierre was a genial host and showed us around the accomodation that was well appointed. His advice... More

We stayed in Les 4 étoiles for 2 nights, and we truly loved it! The place is very beautiful, tasteful and charming. The architect who worked with Pierre did a wonderful job. The house is very "design", but still feels like home. Pierre is the most charming, friendly and attentive host. Right from the first email we sent him, we... More

Les 4 Etoiles is a classic example of a brilliantly run B&B. Pierre the owner is very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about about Montpellier. He spent at least 20 minutes running through the best restaurants, best wines of the region and also went to the trouble of making sure my 5 year old daughter was supplied with toys to play... More

We stayed for 5 days in this small guesthouse. It is a 5 minute walk to the old city. Pierre is very attentive to any need and full of good advice on restaurants and sites to visit. This was a good base to explore the region. Les 4 etoiles has the most comfortable beds, great showers and breakfast. The house... More
